Advanced Entry

I have been offered a place through the CAO for a Post-Year 1 full-time programme. When and how do I register?

Ensure that you accept your place through the CAO by the deadline. Registration information will be posted by CIT on 28th August to all applicants offered a place on add-on programmes. There will be a date scheduled before classes begin where Post year 1 students can get their ID cards, and have a brief induction. You are invited to register at the same time as the Year 1 students in your department – see the Registration Schedule here. Alternatively once classes start the ID card office will be open each day until 7pm for the first few weeks.

When do post-1st Year full-time undergraduate courses commence?

Classes start on Wednesday 12th September. Timetables will be available from 11th Sept. at http://timetables.cit.ie . Please contact your own department after 11th September with any timetable queries. See General Info. Sheet for new Full Time Year 1 students for your department contact numbers and information on  ID cards, myCIT email, fees etc.

Your Modules

Mid September, check your mycit.ie email account for instructions on how to enrol online for Electives (if you have them in Semester 1). Students must check on Web4student that they are enrolled for ALL MODULES in Semester 1 by 5th October 2018, and for ALL Semester 2 modules by 8th February 2019.  Add any missing modules (get the CRN from your lecturer).  All students doing Exams Only or Repeating a module(s) in 2018/19, RPL applications, Project Only, and all Postgraduates, must ensure they are enrolled by the deadline.
