What can the CIT ALUMNI office do for you?
The CIT Alumni Offices develops and supports alumni relations activities at CIT, while also encouraging links between graduates and the Institute. We provide networking opportunities with fellow alumni for professional growth and give you the chance to give back to CIT by volunteering your time as mentor to current students.
All alumni who have studied at CIT can benefit from a range of exclusive services, including access to Institute facilities, regular email newsletters and career support. To make sure you can take advantage of all these benefits, update your details with us.

- CIT Alumni Association LinkedIn Group: This group, which is administered by the CIT Alumni Office, is open to all CIT Alumni students, and staff. It is a useful online networking resource, and can help you to keep in touch with others who have shared the CIT experience.
Careers Service Support for Recent Graduates: The Careers service is available to help recent graduates (one year out) build career management skills, research employment opportunities, and make informed career decisions.
- Award Parchments and Transcripts of Results: This allows you to request an original Award Parchment or Transcript of Results

Keep in Touch
Become a Volunteer: As a CIT alumnus volunteer, you can make a real difference. You can get involved with the Institute and its students in many positive and interesting ways. You can share your knowledge, expertise and experiences in ways that benefit both the Institute and the current generation of students. The challenge for you is to work out where you can have most impact.

Find a Friend Service - To assist graduates who want to find friends and former classmates, CIT Alumni Association has developed a find a friend service. This service is only available to alumni of Cork Institute of Technology (and predecessor institutions). Please note: We will pass your message and details to the person you want to contact. However it is up to the person in question to contact you. We cannot pursue or follow up your request. Also, sometimes the details we hold on our database might not be accurate and/or up-to-date. In these circumstances your message may not reach the person in question.
Class Notes - Let your classmates know what you have been doing. If you have news promotions, marriages, births, awards, publications etc. please contact us. If possible, please include a colour photograph with your name and address printed on the reverse. Whatever your news, send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org
A Global Network - We wish to expand our global network so if you are aware of any CIT Alumni living abroad who would have an interest in becoming involved or setting up a CIT alumni chapter, please contact email@example.com for details.
Careers Service for Employers/Companies - CIT Alumni Office can display your job vacancy if relevant to alumni on the CIT Alumni LinkedIn and Facebook pages. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
Advertise job vacancies for free through the Careers Service in CIT. The positions will be advertised through the service’s website; as well as on their campus noticeboards. Companies can submit an ad themselves to the website’s job page or they can email Treasa.Morgan@cit.ie with details of the position.
