Artists, community artists, youth workers, community workers, teachers, educators, volunteers who are interested in developing a global perspective to their practice.
The course will combine presentations, case studies, and group participation with a focus on experiential learning. Course participation will require access to internet outside of the course time as an on-line learning community will be established and tools and resources shared on-line. This 10 credit Level 8 course explores the use of creativity in approaching issues of participation in global educational and action issues. The course combines presentations, case studies and group participation with a focus on experiential learning.
The course is aimed at artists, youth workers, community workers, teachers, educators and volunteers who are interested in developing a global perspective in their practice. It runs over 8 weekends including three 3 day weekends (Friday – Sunday).
Special Purpose Award: 10 credits (Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
