The programme acts as a ‘Qualification Year' of 60 credits for graduates of engineering and science disciplines who may wish to re-skill as a Chemical Engineer in two academic years. On completion of this 'qualification year' students may progress to stage 4 of the Chemical & Biopharmaceutical Engineering (Honours) Programme.

The course modules are taken in conjunction with full-time day students.
