Overview

This course takes place 1 evening per week over 10 weeks and introduces you to a range of culinary techniques, allowing you to create festive dishes to suit every taste. Participants will work under HACCP guidelines and produce dishes and party food, while being mindful of food waste and sustainability. Learn how to design, plan and execute your Christmas Menu and take away some of the stress of Christmas cooking. The course also takes into account plant based diets and special dietary requirements.

What will I study?

The course runs over 10 weeks, beginning 28th September, with one evening dedicated to a special Wine Evening.

Classes take place on Thursdays from 6-10pm in a dedicated learning kitchen in the Tourism & Hospitality Building on the Bishopstown Campus.

Successful candidates will gain Single Module Certification (5 ECTS credits at Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
