Summer Lunchtime Concert Series

Thursdays 12th May to 16th June @ 1.10pm
Curtis Auditorium, CIT Cork School of Music
With the support of CIT Arts Office
 

Due to storm damage to the roof of the Lecture Theatre at the Crawford Gallery sustained during the winter, this year’s Summer Lunchtime Concert Series will instead take place in the Curtis Auditorium at the CIT Cork School of Music, Union Quay, by kind facilitation of the Director Dr Geoffrey Spratt. 

A full series of six concerts on consecutive Thursdays from 12th May to 16th June will be presented, with many familiar faces performing and introducing some exciting new names to the series. CIT Cork School of Music graduates are very much to the fore featuring in all six concerts.  

Tickets priced €10 with concessions €7 are available at the door.  All  concerts begin at 1.10pm. Doors open 12.45pm.

Siún will be partnered by pianist Gabriela Mayer, one of our most experienced and accomplished performers in a programme of Bach, de Falla and featuring Brahms’ magnificent Sonata No.3

The programme will also include Seán Ó Riada’s Mise Éire Suite, together with an accompanying film of the period.
