With the release of the 2017 Leaving Certificate Examination results on Wednesday 16th August and the publication of CAO Round 1 offers on Monday 21st August, CIT will provide a number of online Live Q & A Sessions.

Speaking at the launch of these live sessions, Dr Dan Collins, Academic Administration and Student Affairs Manager, noted that this can be an anxious, as well as an exciting period for students and their parents or guardians. He emphasised that if people have queries regarding their Leaving Certificate or CAO offers, that they should avail of this service to address same.

Dr Collins also acknowledged the key role Guidance Counsellors have played to date and invited them to direct their students, where necessary, to avail of this service.

Questions & Answers sessions, specifically to answer queries in relation to Leaving Certificate results, will take place as follows:

•   Wednesday 16th August from 2.00pm - 6.00pm
•   Thursday 17th August from 10.00am - 1.00pm

Following the release of the CAO Round 1 offers:

•   Monday 21st August from 10.00am - 1.00pm

Students and Parents/Guardians can access the live Q and A by simply clicking onto www.cit.ie/askcit  and posing their question. These Live sessions will be facilitated by staff from the Admissions Office & Schools Liaison Team. Students and Parents/Guardians are also very welcome to email info@cit.ie at any time.
