When is Induction & Registration scheduled for 1st Year full-time classes?
Registration and induction for most 1st year full-time programmes for Sept. 2018 entry will take place during the week commencing 3rd September (dates to be confirmed). Registration packs will be posted out during the last week of August. Those receiving later offers through the CAO should come directly to Registration at CIT Bishopstown. The timetable for September 2018 registration will be available here from end May.
What are the requirements for new Non-Eu students on Full-time courses?
New Non-Eu students on full-time courses are also required to present original qualifications, and i) passport, ii) CIT study visa or GNIB card (if relevant).
If applying for Eu fees status, print off the application form (for September 2018 entry) available here shortly, and complete it before coming to Registration. Along with an original passport, a valid Stamp 4 GNIB card, it is necessary to provide official documentary evidence of residency in the Eu / EEA for 3 out of the previous 5 years to 1st Sept (minimum 36 months), and in some cases original letters from the Ministry of Justice. Examples of acceptable documentary evidence : a letter from your school, your college, or your work, with exact dates (from and to).
Were you born in a non-Eu country, but you also have an Eu passport?
If you have an Eu passport, make sure you bring it to Registration to ensure the correct fees are applied.
When do 1st Year full-time courses commence?
The September start date for Full-time 1st year undergraduate programmes will be listed here shortly. Timetables were available from 9th Sept. at http://timetables.cit.ie . Please contact your own department after 11th September with any timetable queries.
