Professional Development & Education
CIT offers over 140 different courses to over 4,500 students under the Professional Development/Evening Programme. All programmes lead to credit towards a third level or professional qualification and the range of courses offered is influenced by the student and industry requirements.
These programmes include:
- Higher Certificate, Bachelors and Honours Bachelors Degree Programmes
- Postgraduate Programmes
- Other professional development programmes e.g. Professional Selling, HR Management, 3D Design Using CAD, Project Management, Marketing Institute, Professional Accounting Bodies, CISCO, CompTIA.
Information/Registration for Adult Evening Courses
Institute staff and representatives of Professional Bodies will be in attendance during each session to offer career guidance and assistance.

Faculty of Engineering: Chemical, Civil, Structural & Environmental, Construction, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical & Manufacturing, Nautical, Transport & Automobile.
Faculty of Science: Applied Physics, Biological Science, Chemistry, Computing & Mathematics, Nautical.
