Accommodation
CIT does not have its own campus accommodation, though a number of new apartment complexes have recently been built adjacent to the main Bishopstown campus of the Institute, designed specifically for the student market. They offer facilities such as en suite bedrooms and internet access. The rental period for these apartments commences on 1st September. Other accommodation types, such as private houses and flats, are also available. Please see the Accommodation Information link . Students studying at the centrally located Cork School of Music or the Crawford College of Art & Design may prefer to look for accommodation closer to the city centre. The National Maritime College is located in Ringaskiddy in Cork Harbour, and accommodation can be booked for visiting students at Ferryview apartments which are within 10 minutes’ walking distance of the NMCI.
