The CIT School of Science and Informatics together with the CIT Access Office (Science4Life) were recently awarded a grant by Royal Society of Chemistry to promote Chemistry Education in the Cork Region. The ‘Spectroscopy in a Suitcase’ initiative allows 30 Schools in Cork City and County to gain valuable hands-on access to and expertise with a FTIR Spectroscope.
