The CIMA Masters Gateway entry route is for those CIT Master of Business (Accounting major) graduates wishing to further enhance their professional qualification by becoming a CIMA qualified management accountant. Under this initiative, as a Master of Business in Accounting graduate, you can study for a single fast-track exam awarding with the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting and 11 exemptions from the CIMA Professional Qualification. Once you have achieved the CIMA Advanced Diploma, you will be able to progress straight through to the Strategic Level of the CIMA Professional qualification.
The Gateway assessment exam comprises the three management level exams – E2-Enterprise Management, P2-Performance Management and F2-Financial Management.
To apply for the Masters Gateway entry route, you must:
- Register as a CIMA student online www.cimaireland.com
- Email a copy of your Master of Business (Accounting) transcript to Colm.Murphy@CIMAglobal.com
- Apply to sit the Masters Gateway Exam in May or November
On successful completion of the gateway assessment exam you will be awarded the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting
The cost of the Masters Gateway entry route is £361. This cost includes:
- Student registration fee
- One attempt at the gateway assessment exam
- 11 exemptions fees
Each module is covered over two full days for each of the three modules. Please note that the cost of the 3 two day revision seminars for the E2, P2 & F2 Gateway examination is €500.
