The National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) will be the official patron for the 2015 Maritime Industry Awards while GAC Training and Service Solutions, an NMCI Joint Venture Company, are official sponsors along with AIB, Bord Iascaigh Mhara, The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Inshore Ireland, The Marine Times and Amárach Research.

The award ceremony will take place in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin on 18th June 2015.
 
The Maritime Industry Awards 2015 recognise and celebrate the most original and innovative individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence in the Irish Maritime & Marine sector. The Maritime Industry Awards provides a voice for companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of the industry in Ireland. Almost every aspect of our national life depends on our connections to the wider world and many of these connections are provided by the sea. In Ireland, more than 90% of trade travels by sea. These awards celebrate the role of the industry and highlight the efforts of all companies and individuals involved.
 
NMCI, a constituent college of Cork Institute of Technology, focuses on both maritime and non-maritime industry sectors, and offers customised education and training programmes to meet individual requirements.
