Media Communications
The Department of Media Communications has in recent years grown significantly in terms of its range of programmes and in its recognition as a premier educational provider of visual communication, creative digital media, journalism, public relations (with new media), radio broadcasting, television production and e-learning in Ireland.
The Department is part of the CIT Crawford College of Art and Design since 2010 and the programmes are offered on the CIT Bishopstown campus.
All courses maintain close links to industry involving ongoing consultation with design and media professionals ensuring that courses are targeted to ‘real world’ needs and that graduates are both highly educated and eminently employable.

The College offers opportunities in research at Masters and Phd level, plus taught Masters such as the MA in Public Relations with New Media, Journalism with New Media, as well as the MA in Elearning Design and Development.
