Excellent presentations at Biomarin evening lecture
Published on: Monday, 10 February 2014
The weather may have been daunting, but the 50 persons who ventured out to attend the Biomarin lecture, part of Engineers Ireland evening lecture series, were rewarded by a very interesting series of short presentation from Biomarin staff on the technology transfer and facility fit of their Shanbally, Ringaskiddy, site. The industrialists present paid close attention to the details of the modifications undertaken and the major energy and water savings achieved. Meantime, the chemical engnieering students got a flavour of the challenges in introducing a new process to an existing plant.
