Moleday celebrated by CIT chemical engineering
Published on: Monday, 02 November 2015
Moleday originated in the US to promote interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Here in CIT, led by Dr. Aisling O’Gorman, the theme has been taken up to prompt a light-hearted exchange between students of all years and staff. Students and staff celebrated moleday with tea, coffee – and cakes!
As has become a tradition, the first years prepared the best cakes, and students Karina Torres Cerna, Suzana Hustakova, Leona Sheehan and Sinead O'Riordan demonstrated that food engineering is an inherent part of a chemical engineers skill-set.
