Overview

This programme is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career in Quality in the following sectors: Pharma, Biopharma, Medical Device, MedTech, Clinical, Water, Food, Beverage, Security, Agri-food, Warehousing, Construction, Retail, Building Supplies and IT.  The format of this course is typical of a management course involving participation, discussion and background reading. The project constitutes a very important part of the year’s work and marks are awarded accordingly.

Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday, 7pm – 10pm (Usually Tuesday)

This course is not semesterised and runs for one evening per week for one academic year. The format for this academic year through blended delivery.

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to have the Diploma in Quality Management – Part 1 (or the Certificate in Quality Management, which was the previous title of the course).

As coursework on this programme involves a significant quantity of both oral and written reports, examinations, and presentations, applicants must be competent in spoken and written English.

 

What is RPL?

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is when formal recognition is given for what you already know prior to starting on a programme or module. With recognition of prior learning the focus is on learning and not on experience as such. You can apply for RPL in any MTU accredited programme or module. Programmes which are accredited by professional bodies or any external awarding bodies may have their own procedures for RPL which you should refer to.
