The Access Service aims to ensure widened enrolment in CIT from under-represented groups. The Service aims to lead the way in high quality, professional and responsive access provision. This is achieved through a strong commitment to education and social inclusion principles and by working in partnership with all key stakeholders. The Service organises and delivers a range of pre-entry, entry and post-entry support programmes for the various groups we work with. The Access Service is managed by Deirdre Creedon, Access Officer.
The CIT Access Service engages with the following groups
- Mature Students
- Students with Disabilities
- Groups that experience socio-economic disadvantage
