Buildings and Estates

The Buildings and Estates Office plays a strategic role in the planning, development and maintenance of the Institute's physical facilities, land and infrastructure in accordance with the Institute's policies and procedures.

As a support service to the Institute, its primary areas of responsibility include:

  • New buildings
  • Roads
  • Car parks
  • Refurbishment works
  • General building maintenance
  • Maintenance of electrical services (excluding telecommunications)
  • Maintenance of mechanical services including heating and plumbing
  • Waste Management
  • Cleaning
  • Traffic management
  • Grounds maintenance

There is a "Maintenance Works/New Works Sheet" available on the CIT Intranet should you require a specific service.
Office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm excluding lunch hour (1.00 pm - 2.00 pm).
