Aaron Moore is awarded the Niall Condon Pfizer Chemical Process Safety Medal.

The Niall Condon Pfizer Chemical Process Safety Medal has been awarded to Aaron Moore, currently in Year 3 BEng (Honours) in Chemical & Biopharmaceutical Engineering. Aaron is from Cobh and went to school in Colaiste Mhuire in Cobh. Aaron was selected to be awarded the medal following interviews of those achieving high marks in Year 2 of the programme.
Aaron will be undertaking an internship in Pfizer, in the field of chemical process safety, and will have the opportunity to undertake his final year project on this topic with Pfizer. He already has industrial experience, having worked for Zenith Technologies at the end of his second year.
The Medal is sponsored by Pfizer and named after Niall Condon, Pfizer’s VP for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations. Niall was the first CIT Chemical & Biopharmaceutical Engineering graduate. Pictured below are Niall (left), Aaron (centre) and Janina Zambrzycka (right). Janina was the first recipient of the Medal in 2014, has since graduated, and is now working for Pfizer.
