Full Spectrum featuring work by Visual Communications and Multimedia students opened on the 30th May, and runs from Friday, 31 May to Saturday, 8 June 2013.
The Media Communications Degree Show is a highly anticipated annual event where many graduates are recruited for industry on the strength of their displays.
The Visual Communications work centres on graphic design in both digital and traditional hardcopy formats. The various Visual Communications projects include: promotional campaigns/typography/corporate identity/branding/packaging/illustration.
A number of the Multimedia graduates will present video production, interactive technology, and game development using cutting edge technology.
Projects include: A campaign motivating graduates to achieve jobs /A celebration of Irish speakers /A design led explanation of Higgs Boson/An Understanding Cyberbullying guide for parents /An interactive and realistic Cork City Gaol themed digital game/Tales of prison life depicted through an interactive clock/An interactive holographic display.
