CIT's MeSSO Research Group and the Department of Process, Energy & Transport Engineering is delighted to announce details of a free half day technical seminar on ventilative cooling and overheating risk in low energy buildings, taking place on the 20th April 2016 at the Bishopstown Campus, CIT.
Addressing the increased potential for cooling energy demand and associated risk of overheating in new and refurbished low energy buildings is becoming an important issue for the industry. This half day seminar for researchers, designers, engineers & architects, organised in collaboration with IEA-EBC Annex 62 will present state of the art in utilising ventilation strategies and systems in addressing these issues. Speakers will include both national and international researchers and practitioners showcasing various tools, techniques and projects related to ventilative cooling, presenting their most recent findings from the state of the art.
