The DEIS department hosted a group of transnational experts in the areas of computer and video games and sport as part of a new EU-funded project for which the department is the main co-ordinator; the project entitled "Serious Sports" seeks to investigate the use of computer game technology for faciliating a variety of sport and sport coaching skills.
