CIT offers Higher Certificate in Business for Mature Students

As part of its provision of new opportunities for adult learners, CIT is offering a Higher Certificate in Business for Mature Students.
This course aims to equip mature students (i.e. 23 years of age by 1st January of the year of entry), with the skills, knowledge and competencies to take advantage of employment opportunities in areas such as accounting, marketing, banking, insurance etc. The programme is targeted at people who may wish to acquire new skills and a third level qualification or would like to get ready to compete in a changing job environment.
The course content includes: Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing and Law and is delivered over two academic years, Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm, commencing in September 2012
Applicant may be eligible to apply for the Back to Education Allowance Scheme operated by the Department of Social Protection and/or the Higher Education Grant (VEC).
Graduates of this course are eligible to apply for further studies at degree level.
