Published on: Wednesday, 03 October 2012
The DEIS Department is hosting a pan-European project meeting here in CIT on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th. The project’s objective is to support a web-based performance centred Masters Degree Programme through the use of Remote Labs. Each partner country is tasked with the setup of a remote lab. Students will be able to interact with remote experiments, change parameters and in some cases modify and design experiments.
This exciting project draws from the expertise of 5 partner organisations:
- The National Distance Education University (UNED) – Spain
- Plovdiv University – Bulgaria
- Technical University Sofia – Bulgaria
- Cork Institute of Technology - Ireland
- Technical University Graz - Austria
The end result of the project will be an International Web Based Masters Programme that is supported by a number of Remote Laboratories. The project is funded under the Lifelong Learning Programme.
