CIT Cloud Programmes nominated for Major Award

The Engineers Ireland Excellence Awards 2013 recognises the achievements of individuals and organisations who have demonstrated exceptional engineering skills and made a significant contribution to the engineering body of knowledge in Ireland.
CIT’s Cloud submission is one of four entries nominated for the award of Engineering Education – Best in Class 2013.
The current suite of cloud computing programmes include:
- Certificate in Cloud Infrastructure Technologies (L6)
- Higher Diploma in Cloud Computing (L8)
- Higher Diploma in Cloud & Mobile Software Development (L8)
- BSc (Hons) in Cloud Computing (L8) – 1 year add-on
- MSc in Cloud Computing (L9)
The purpose of this award is to highlight developments in Irish engineering education that clearly demonstrate a real impact on the student community coupled with an actual or future contribution to the economy. This overall award of Engineering Education – Best in Class 2013 will be presented in Dublin on Friday 8th November to the third level education institute that has demonstrated excellence in the field of engineering education.
