CIT Student Tom To Ride At Cheltenham For Cancer Research Charity

CIT student, Tom O’Neill, a second year Electrical Engineering student from Castletownroche, Co. Cork will be riding at Cheltenham in the St Patrick’s Derby Charity Race for Amateur Jockeys at 5:15pm on Thursday evening.
 
Tom needed to raise €5,000 for Charity in order for him to be able to race, to date he has hugely exceeded his target and has raised over €10,000 for Cancer UK, his chosen charity.
 
Also flying the flag for CIT at Cheltenham, second year Marketing student & CIT Sports Scholarship recipient Jane Mangan, from Conna, Co. Cork who returned to the festival riding “Oscar Delta” in the Foxhunter Chase. Check out Jane's interview ahead of Cheltenham.
