CIT in top 10% of U-Multirank New European Rankings

CIT has performed strongly in an EU sponsored ranking system in which the Institute finished in the top 10% of participants. U-Multirank is a new way for anyone to compare Universities and Colleges from all around the world. The data was compiled over several years and involved teams of experts from around the globe. A total of 879 Universities and Colleges were evaluated under the new system in which they were assessed on a marking system from ‘A’ for excellent to ‘E’ for weak across a wide range of Indicators ranging from Research, Teaching & Learning, International Orientation Knowledge Transfer and Regional Engagement.
CIT’s ranking returned 11 ‘A’ grades in the following indicators:
Teaching & Learning: ‘A’ grade for undergraduate graduation rate and also undergraduates graduating on time.
Knowledge Transfer: ‘A’ grades for Co-publication with industrial partners, publications cited in patents and income from continuous professional development.
International Orientation: ‘A’ grades for International academic staff, international joint publications and international doctorate degrees.
Regional Engagement: ‘A’ grades for undergraduate graduates working in region, Master’s graduates working in region and regional joint publications.
