The TEC Gateway in the CIT Nimbus Centre is hosting an Industry Open Day on Friday, 20th June. The Open Day will have speakers from Industry, Enterprise Ireland, and CIT describing technology innovation and funding services offered to start-ups, SMEs and large enterprises across Ireland. There will also be a Technology Demonstration, excellent networking opportunities, and a competition for €5,000 worth of research.

The TEC Gateway is part of the Nimbus Centre, Ireland’s only research centre dedicated to the Internet of Things - networked embedded electronics and software system solutions. Embedded electronics control your phone, car, dishwasher, etc. Its 80 research engineers specialise in developing High-Tec prototypes for clients ranging from International Corporations to individuals with a good idea.

The Agenda for the Open day will feature Enterprise Ireland Funding Mechanisms – how to avail of the funding schemes for innovative projects, presentations by Industry Clients – who have successfully worked with TEC Gateway in the past. There will also be presentations on Mallow Systems Innovation Centre and the National Sustainable Energy Test Bed as well as technology demonstrations.
