Event: Food Waste Reduction Fair at CIT 26 – 28 November

Events will take place throughout Europe during the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) > November 21st to 29th.
 
One such event hosted by CIT at its Bishopstown Campus is a Food Waste Reduction Fair.
 
This will take place on 26 - 28 November,
Thursday 26th
Lunch: The Canteen will offer green lunch options with produce sourced locally.
Afternoon: Exhibition in the Nexus with information stands and composting demonstrations - waste reduction tips and recipes.
Evening: Low waste meal prepared by the Hospitality Management students under Seamus Forde in the Tourism and Hospitality restaurant. A food waste ebooklet will be launched at this meal.

Friday 27th November 
Lunch: The Canteen will offer green lunch options with produce sourced locally.
All day: Exhibition in the Nexus with information stands and composting demonstrations - waste reduction tips and recipes.

Saturday 28th November

Kevin Dundon, Celebrity Chef, TV Personality, Author and Proprietor of Dunbrody Country House Hotel & Restaurant, will carry out a cookery demonstration in the Tourism and Hospitality demonstration kitchen at 11.30am.

There will be an opportunity to taste Kevin’s creations and ask questions after the demonstration.
