The annual CIT Christmas Fair takes place this year on Thursday 4th December, Nexus Hall, Student Centre, CIT Bishopstown Campus , from 10am - 4 pm. This is an ideal opportunity to support local producers and artists while getting ready for Christmas. The 2013 Fair was a great success, with a large turnout throughout the day – and we are hoping for bigger and better this year!
The Fair opens at 10am for the early birds, then live music with the Roaring Forties will be kicking off at 12pm with their heady mix of swing, jazz, jump and jive to get us all into the festive spirit. Fresh food stands including Volcano Pizza, Barracuda, and O Conaill Chocolate will keep us fed throughout the day, whilst other festive treats such as mince pies and cookies will be available in the hall. There may even be a visit from the man in red about 1pm to take any last minute requests.
We have a great line up of stalls selling a wide range of quality crafts, gifts, food, and more that will suit all tastes and pockets! There will be over 30 vendors including soaps, jewellery, bespoke stationary, ceramics, cards, honey and preserves, photography, art, baked goods, textiles and even shoes! So call in for some food, music and some lovely shopping.
