Buildings and Estates
The Buildings and Estates Office plays a strategic role in the planning, development and maintenance of the University's physical facilities, land and infrastructure in accordance with the University's policies and procedures.
As a support service to the MTU Cork Campus, its primary areas of responsibility include:
- New buildings
- Roads
- Car parks
- Refurbishment works
- General building maintenance
- Maintenance of electrical services (excluding telecommunications)
- Maintenance of mechanical services including heating and plumbing
- Waste Management
- Cleaning
- Traffic management
- Grounds maintenance
There is a "Maintenance Works/New Works Sheet" available on the MTU Intranet should you require a specific service.
Office hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm excluding lunch hour (1.00 pm - 2.00 pm).
