I am a full-time undergraduate student in CIT, how do I re-register for the following year of my course?
Following publication of the summer examination results, qualified students will be automatically pre-registered for the subsequent academic year. Qualified students with stream choice, were emailed a link in July to their course choices, which should be applied for online by the deadline date. Those students who successfully completed an Award in June were emailed a link in July for relevant add-on programmes (apart from some programmes where an application form must be completed - check with your department).
I am a full-time undergraduate student in CIT, doing Work Placement during the summer, or doing some Repeat exams in August - how do I re-register for the following year of my course?
Following publication of the Autumn Examination results, qualified students will be automatically pre-registered for the subsequent academic year. Qualified students with stream choices, or at Award level, will be emailed a link after the September Exam Board Meetings to their course choices. When do Classes start?
Classes start on Wednesday 11th September 2019. Timetables will be available from 10th Sept. at http://timetables.cit.ie . Please contact your own department after 10th September with any timetable queries. See General Info. Sheet for new Full Time Year 1 students for your department contact numbers and information on ID cards, myCIT email, fees etc.
Check your mycit.ie email account for instructions on how to enrol online for Electives (if you have them in Semester 1). Students must check on Web4student that they are enrolled for ALL MODULES in Semester 1 by 4th October 2019, and for ALL Semester 2 modules by 7th February 2020. Add any missing modules (get the CRN from your lecturer). All students doing Exams Only or Repeating a module(s) in 2019/20, RPL applications, Project Only, and all Postgraduates, must ensure they are enrolled by the deadline.
