Courses in the Department of Construction reflect the multi-faceted nature of the construction process - being integrated through their focus on the building product, but differentiated by an emphasis on a particular aspect of the industry.
The Construction Manager procures the required resources, assembles them in the correct location and sequence, and directs the progression of the project on site. The Quantity Surveyor appraises the resources needed to build a project and ensures that the client gets value for the money they expend. The Construction Technician encompasses a range of the above skills.
