Where do I start?
Step 1
Register for the module as normal and locate the correct set of learning outcomes at https://courses.cit.ie/
Step 2
Discuss the basis of your case over email with the module assessor. Then complete the paperwork required at rpl/usefulforms and gather your evidence. Make your evidence digital.
If you have questions, attend an online workshop. To arrange attendance at a workshop contact; phil.oleary@mtu.ie.
There are a number of supports available on this site to assist you;
- The 'RPL Information Guidelines for Students' handbook is available on the RPL home page. This handbook provides a complete guide on how to structure and develop your application for RPL.
- The required forms for your application are also available through the menu on the left hand side (under useful forms).
- Examples of RPL cases are available for both prior formal and prior experiental learning.
- Workshop slides are available: for cases based on prior formal learning and prior experiential learning
Step 3
